June, 2018: After months of hard work with our professional team, we completed the master plan architectural design and a feasibility study for the capital campaign. The study provided helpful information that guided our planning for the campaign; we are grateful to all who participated.
July-September, 2018: We prepared for the capital campaign. Preparations included designing our printed and online materials, forming a fundraising committee, and ensuring that our database, software, and processing capabilities were ready.
October, 2018: We held our first fundraising committee meeting, which included a trip to the new monastery to see the basic outline of the building staked out on the site. This field trip was followed by a presentation on the history of the design process and a look at the projected course of the campaign and project, given by our architect and development consultant.
October, 2018-present: We have been soliciting pledges and gifts while simultaneously working to raise awareness of our vocation and project through various means. We are grateful for all the blessings God is sending us and the many generous donations we have received thus far, but much work remains to be done.
